Freedom of Movement is the Key to Good Health.
As we age, most people expect to become rigid and infirm leading to dependency. In most cases, this does not need to be true. Much can be done early to improve posture in children and adolescents especially with the chronic use of technology. Preventing spinal rigidity as we naturally age is essential for health. Poor posture will actually reduce your ability to breathe deeply and happens so gradually, that it goes unnoticed for years. Improved mobility, especially of the spinal and rib joints, can make breathing easier, improve your blood oxygen uptake making you feel more energetic. We test all our patients with an oximeter (which clamps onto your finger, like in a hospital) to measure the oxygen in the blood before and after your adjustment. You’ll be surprised at the change.
